Yes! Barkuterie Boards is gourmet charcuterie for dogs. Every ingredient is 100% safe for dogs. In fact, they’re more than safe for them— they’re good for them!

Are all ingredients in Barkuterie Boards safe for dogs to eat?

Absolutely. The safety and health of your dogs is our priority. We only use ingredients that are safe for dogs to eat. They are real and all natural fresh, dried, and/or freeze-dried ingredients— we use no fillers, no preservatives.

With that said, moderation is key and if you have any medical questions or concerns, please contact a veterinarian to ensure the proteins/vegetables/fruits included on Barkuterie Boards are a good treat option for your dog.

Do you ship?

Yes! We ship all of our boards via UPS. And we are excited to announce that Road Trip and Souvenir Barkuterie Boards are NOW available for nationwide shipping!

Updated Note: our shipping days are on Mondays and Tuesdays. If you have a preferred delivery date, please use the “Barkuterie Boards Customization” box that pops-up when placing a product in your cart to let us know. And reach out to us directly with any weekend delivery/rush requests prior to placing an order. Additional shipping charge may apply for weekend delivery/rush requests.

What shipping option do I select?

When placing an order, if you’re shipping to an address in California, please select the product that includes the following in its product name: (California Shipping)

If you’re shipping to an address outside of California, please select the product that includes the following in its product name: (Nationwide Shipping).

Note: only Road Trip and Souvenir Barkuterie Boards are currently available for shipping outside of California. We currently do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or United States territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.)

How long is the processing time?

Our order processing and fulfillment time is as soon as possible with shipping dates being on Mondays and Tuesdays.

What ingredients are on the Barkuterie Boards?

The ingredients used to create Barkuterie Boards are all natural, real, and nutritious! Ingredients include:

  • single ingredient dried proteins (beef, chicken, lamb, salmon, cod and/or turkey)

  • unsalted all natural peanut butter

  • cucumber rose (some holiday-themed boards will come with a strawberry rose in lieu of a cucumber one)

  • apple slices and/or unsweetened dried apple slices

  • broccoli

  • blueberries (fresh and/or freeze dried)

  • unsweetened freeze-dried and dried fruit: strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, blueberries, coconut, mangoes, bananas

  • dried sweet potato

  • cheddar cheese (white or yellow cheddar)

  • celery

  • bell peppers cut into seasonal shapes

  • yogurt chips (peanut butter and/or regular yogurt)

  • a special customized Drool Dog Cookie*

*the cookie shapes/designs change often, as they are event, season, and holiday-specific cookies.

What is the difference between a Barkuterie Board and a Road Trip Barkuterie Board?

There are no fresh ingredients on the Road Trip Barkuterie Boards. All ingredients used to create Road Trip boards are dried, dehydrated, and/or freeze dried. There is no cooler or refrigerator required to keep Road Trip Barkuterie Boards fresh. They’re also completely customizable, which makes them the perfect gift for any occassion, including birthdays!

How long do Barkuterie Boards stay fresh?

Barkuterie Boards with fresh ingredients/Barkuterie Boards shipped during the summertime, are all shipped with an ice pack, and upon arrival, the boards should be kept in a cooler/refrigerator; all fresh ingredients on Barkuterie Boards will remain fresh for up to a few days post-delivery date. When stored properly, all other ingredients in the boards (dried, dehydrated, freeze-dried) will stay fresh for several weeks.

How long do Road Trip Barkuterie Boards stay fresh?

Road Trip Barkuterie Boards contain only dried, dehydrated, and freeze-dried ingredients; when stored properly (in the board/box and kept in a cool place), all ingredients will remain fresh for up to a month post-delivery date.

What brands do you use to create Barkuterie Boards?

The fresh components on the boards are primarily sourced from local farmers markets and Trader Joe’s.

The dried, dehydrated, and freeze-dried ingredients are single ingredient proteins and unsweetened and unsulfured fruit from primarily the following brands: Open Farm, Real Mesa, Trader Joe’s, Stella & Chewy’s, Kirkland Signature (dried fruits), Ruff Bar, and other ingredients (e.g., yogurt chips) are sourced from holistic pet shops.

What ingredients are the cookies made with?

Every Barkuterie Board includes a special cookie baked and customized by Drool Dog Cookies— a fellow woman-owned small business— based in Napa, California. The cookies are made with the following all natural ingredients: garbanzo beans, buckwheat, bananas, peanut butter, blackstrap molasses, meringue powder, water.

Are Barkuterie Boards customizable?

Yes! All Barkuterie Boards— souvenir, small, medium, large, Road Trip, and/or spreads— are customizable to customers preferences, including any dietary restrictions.

All orders can be customized with cheddar cheese and/or dried mango cutouts, including your best buds name and/or age. Please specify any customization details when placing an order.
